About the association
The South Carolina Trucking Association is the statewide trade association serving motor carriers and trucking-related businesses in South Carolina. SCTA represents the industry through government affairs, legislative and regulatory advocacy, safety and compliance programs, education, communications, and professional events. Its member services include training, councils focused on safety and maintenance, operational resources, industry partnerships, and opportunities for networking and recognition. The association also promotes public understanding of trucking’s role in supplying South Carolina communities and gives carriers and allied companies a coordinated voice on policies affecting commercial freight transportation.
