About the association
The Indiana Motor Truck Association is the statewide trade association representing trucking companies and related businesses in Indiana. IMTA traces its origins to trucking professionals who organized in the 1930s to defend and advance the industry’s interests. Today it focuses on advocacy, safety, education, workforce development, business resources, and professional networking. Member programs include safety and maintenance initiatives, leadership development, compliance education, industry events, recognition programs, and legislative engagement. The association serves carriers and allied companies while promoting the efficiency, productivity, public image, and safe operation of Indiana’s trucking industry.
