About the association
The Georgia Trucking Association is the primary statewide trade organization serving Georgia’s trucking industry. Founded in 1933, the association represents motor carriers and supporting businesses through public-policy advocacy, safety and compliance programs, education, leadership development, and industry events. GTA works with state and federal officials on issues affecting freight transportation and provides members with opportunities to network, build skills, and address shared business concerns. Its membership and programs support carriers, drivers, suppliers, and partners involved in moving freight across Georgia, while its public mission emphasizes a safer, stronger, and more connected trucking industry.
