About the association
Washington Trucking Associations is the statewide trade organization serving Washington’s trucking industry. Since 1922, WTA has acted as an information center and spokesperson for motor carriers and allied businesses, advocating for sound public policy and a safe, dependable, and efficient transportation system. The association provides education, safety and compliance programs, industry information, permits and operational resources, professional events, and opportunities for member involvement. WTA also maintains relationships with state agencies, legislators, and the American Trucking Associations while helping trucking companies and industry suppliers address shared business and regulatory concerns.
