About the association
The Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association is the statewide trade association dedicated to representing Pennsylvania’s trucking industry. Established in 1928, PMTA serves motor carriers and allied businesses through legislative and regulatory advocacy, safety and education programs, industry news, professional events, and practical member services. The association provides carrier and allied membership options, regional chapters, committees, compliance resources, and opportunities for networking and recognition. Its programs support the professional and economic development of trucking companies and the businesses that serve them while giving the industry a coordinated voice on transportation policy across Pennsylvania.
