About the association
The Transportation Association of Massachusetts is a statewide nonprofit association serving trucking companies, private fleets, municipalities, suppliers, trade groups, and individuals involved in commercial motor transportation. With a history extending more than a century, TAM works to improve the trucking industry through advocacy, safety information, regulatory and operational resources, education, and member communication. The association represents industry concerns before Massachusetts policymakers and agencies and provides updates on legislation, highway conditions, emissions policy, and commercial vehicle requirements. Its programs and events help member companies operate more safely, effectively, and competitively throughout the Commonwealth.
