About the association
The Iowa Motor Truck Association has represented Iowa’s trucking industry since 1942. Headquartered in Des Moines, the association serves hundreds of trucking companies and industry suppliers of different sizes across the state. IMTA provides a statewide voice on legislative and regulatory issues while supporting safety, education, workforce development, business resources, and professional networking. Its membership includes motor carriers and allied organizations that supply products and services to commercial transportation companies. Programs include events, industry communications, leadership opportunities, sponsorships, training, and resources intended to help members operate safely and successfully in Iowa.
